- Important Covid-19 Update for Sept 2020: Please Read

We are following the government guidelines for FE colleges. With reference to the Government's new 'rule of six' effective from 14 September - Please note that education is among the limited exemptions of the rule. In light of this, AHED is open for all classes, courses and workshops. Most classes will resume face-to-face teaching for the normal duration. The following arrangements will be in place:

''- Staff and Students will be required to wear face coverings in all corridors and communal areas unless there is a medical reason why they should not. Students do not need to wear face coverings in lessons unless they wish to.

- Hand gel to be used on arrival.

- As much as we can, a one-way system in the building, stickers showing which side of the corridor to walk down (left-hand side of corridors).

- The café area will be closed.

- At the end of a lesson before leaving the classroom the staff member will spray cleaning fluid on tables and each student will wipe down their desk.

- Students are requested not to arrive too early or stay on site longer than necessary.

-If there were another full or local lockdown then staff would revert to delivery of lessons via Zoom/Moodle for the duration and you will be notified of these changes.

Please ensure that you check the AHED website, or if you have a college email account log in prior to attendance on site, as this will be the easiest way to for us to update you of any changes.

Thank you, keep safe and well.

Students who study at the Owen's Road site are advised to read the current information on their website by visiting the Sixth Form College Website.
