Tutor Biography - Sunita Auger

My journey with Calligraphy began in 2011 with an adult education class at Brookfield School. I am a calligraphy tutor accredited by the national society, the Calligraphy and Lettering Arts Society (CLAS); I am also an active member of Hampshire Calligraphers and serve on their committee.

As well as personal Calligraphy projects and commissions, I run workshops both in my own studio and around Hampshire teaching traditional Calligraphy as well as the more modern approach to calligraphy using pointed nibs.

In addition to exhibiting with other local artists at Hampshire Open Art Studios, examples of my work can be seen on my website www.gloryletteringstudio.co.uk. I also exhibit with Hampshire Calligraphers at the annual exhibitions we hold in Romsey Abbey, Portsmouth Cathedral and the Discovery Centre, Basingstoke.

I look forward to meeting you and sharing with you my love of this craft.
