University & Access To HE
Higher and Degree Apprenticeships are available at levels 4 to 7 – from the equivalent of a foundation degree to a masters degree. Just like normal apprenticeships, they combine on the job training with academic study. They usually take between one and four years to complete and students do not have to pay tuition fees as these are covered by the government and employers. They are a great way to gain a debt-free degree level qualification, in addition to earning a wage.
Students benefit from gaining substantial work experience and on the job training, whilst being able to directly apply classroom theory. Employers benefit from being able to train and retain a talented and loyal workforce with up to date industry knowledge. They are a great way to upskill your workforce and encourage employees to progress within your organisation.
We offer two higher apprenticeships at AHED – the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship and the Higher Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management (Operations/Departmental Manager). Applicants to our apprenticeships will need to discuss the course with their employer in the first instance. If you are an employer and would like further information about employing an apprentice, or training an existing member of staff through an apprenticeship, please email us on email@example.com.
