There are various funding options available, depending on your age, existing qualifications, the level of your course and personal circumstances. Instalment Plans
Students applying for Higher Education courses can access a quick start finance guide from the Student Finance England site. Additional information, including a Student Finance calculator and repayment information, can also be accessed on the gov.uk website by clicking here.
Advanced Learner Loans
Advanced Learner Loans are for learners aged 19 and over studying at level 3 to 6 (eligibility criteria apply). They are not means tested, there is no credit check and you do not need to pay anything back until you are earning over £27,295pa. Students applying for the Access to HE course should note that their Advanced Learner Loan will be wiped out should they go on to complete a degree. For further information and advice about applying click here. Please note that the Advanced Learner Loan CANNOT be used for Foundation Degree or Degree courses.
ELCAS Scheme - The College is registered with the MoD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC). The scheme promotes lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces and provides financial support in the form of a single up-front payment for courses at level 3 and above.
