How to Enrol

Some of our courses will require you to attend an interview or assessment prior to enrolment. Please complete an online application form via the website or contact Reception if you would prefer us to send a paper application form to you. On receipt of your application, a member of staff will contact you with a date for interview or assessment. Paper application forms can be sent back to us at the following freepost address:

FREEPOST RTLA-BHZJ-LGTS, Peter Symonds College, Adult & Higher Education, Stoney Lane, Winchester, SO22 6DR.

Applications for our Higher Education courses can be completed online or via the UCAS Apply Scheme (institution code P52).

Students may enrol and pay online for our Leisure courses, subject to space being available. If you experience any difficulty enrolling online, please contact our Registry department on 01962 889547 (open Monday-Friday 09.15-16.00). Alternatively, email AHED.Registry@psc.ac.uk.

After payment of the course fees, you will receive a receipt and a course outline by post for telephone and paper enrolments.  When enrolling online, please make a note of the date, time and venue of you course. We also recommend that you print a copy if the course outline for your records.  The Student Handbook (Adults) is available online and contains important information about college policies and procedures, site maps and frequently asked questions. We strongly advise you to familiarise yourself with the contents of the Student Handbook prior to the start of your course. Please note that we have separate policies and procedures for our Higher Education programmes. Please see 'Wider Information about HE' on the website or contact the Higher Education Admissions Team for further details. If you require a handbook or policy in a different format, please contact Reception at ahed@psc.ac.uk.

IMPORTANT: You are advised to enrol on your chosen course as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Places are allocated on a first-come first-served basis. Telephone and face to face enrolments will naturally have priority over any form of written enrolment (e.g. postal enrolment). You will receive confirmation of your enrolment by post, or by email for online enrolments. Please do not turn up for a class if you have not received confirmation as the course may be full and there may be a waiting list for the course.

Please note that courses may not run if there are not sufficient enrolments to make the course viable. The course length may be adjusted to allow the course to run on reduced enrolments. You will be contacted at the earliest opportunity if your course is not running and will be offered a suitable alternative where possible. Alternatively, a refund will be given at the earliest opportunity.
